The Lost Tower is first person psychological horror game in which the player takes the role of a normal person trapped in a forgotten temple in the mountains. As the player progresses through the game they experience the character’s gradual decent into madness.
Why create this game?
As a fan of the written works of H.P. Lovecraft and horror movies, I feel that videogames can bring a more immersive experience in narrative horror, and at the same time offer players an involving storyline and character development.
Where does the game take place?
The game takes place in the mountains of Peru, where the player finds an old Inca temple that in reality is a door to a space between dimensions. In this space lies a valley were a strange alien tower lies; here lived an ancient creature that lived millions of years before humankind called the “Old God” and now his creations wander uncontrolled inside the temple.
What do I control?
You control John, the alter ego of a British librarian named Benjamin - as in the movie "The Fight Club", but here you are Brad Pitt rather than Edward Norton. John is the "Alter" that Benjamin creates after suffering a major mental breakdown when he cannot face the horrible truth of his actions.
As John, the player does not know that he is controlling a split personality created by the mind of a dysfunctional character. There are some clues in the game to explain this, but for the majority of the game the player will believe that they are a real person and not a figment of Benjamin’s imagination. John will have memories from the life of Benjamin, and will think that he is a British librarian that suffered depression.
What is the main focus?
At the beginning of the game, the player wakes from a black out to find himself alone, his friends have disappeared. The focus of the game begins with the search to find John’s friends. lies in finding what happened with his (John's) friends during the time he was unconscious. In the beginning when John’s wake up he is next to his girlfriend that is taking care of him when he was unconscious, she inform the player that the rest of the group go inside of the temple and only Benjamin come back. Soon it is clear that something bad happen and Benjamin don't want to explain where the rest of the group is, so John decides to go inside with Carol (who insists on going inside to find her brother) and, despite Benjamin’s objections, find out where the others are.
Soon after John and Carol enter the temple, the player will find the first clue of the missing
friends, a pair of glasses, this will trigger a small flashback and will turn Benjamin into a psychotic person that will try to hurt John and Carol. Trying to escape from Benjamin John and Carol split up, it is in this moment that John discovers that inside this place is a terrible monster that roams the place.

Seven Years sleep is a game about a person that is going to sleep, his mind try to relax but is bombarded by "bad" thoughts that not let him to sleep. The player controls several palets that protect the mind and must only let pass the relaxing thoughts that will help the character sleep, represented by the sphere (the “mind”) in the middle of the screen.
This is a game that I co-designed with several friends from the NFTS (Darren Neville, Xian Chua,Joshua Unsworth), for a Game Jam. Was designed and build in 48 hours. Music and sounds by Matias Carvajal.
This is a Show reel with the projects that I made in the NFTS for the games design course (2013-2014).
During these projects I worked on Games design, 3D modeling, Unity 3D and programing on C#.
